Recentriq vs Bigin by Zoho CRM
Bigin is the best small CRM there is. It is also only a CRM.
We like Bigin. It is the rare product that says no to features on purpose, and a two-person team can be running it properly before lunch. The comparison is not about quality, it is about scope: Bigin manages pipelines and the conversations around them, and stops there. If that is the whole of your problem, Bigin at $7 a seat is a better answer than we are.

The differences that actually decide it
The comparison is scope, not price. We cost less than Bigin Express.
Recentriq is $5 per user per month against Bigin Express at $7, and that is close enough to be a rounding error in the decision. What differs is what arrives for it: Recentriq includes accounting, stock, purchasing, projects and HR, which Bigin does not attempt.
Record caps.
Bigin's tiers are shaped by record and automation limits — 50,000 records on Express, 100,000 on Premier. Recentriq has no per-tenant record cap; you have a Postgres schema of your own.
If you only need a pipeline, buy the pipeline.
We would rather say this than win the sale badly. A four-person consultancy that invoices from a spreadsheet and has no stock does not need our accounting module, and Bigin will be a happier daily experience than a suite with nine modules switched off.
Where Bigin by Zoho CRM is better than us
Every comparison page should have one of these. Here is ours.
- Simplicity as a design goal, executed better than almost anyone. Onboarding is genuinely minutes.
- A free tier you can run a one-person business on.
- Excellent mobile apps, including an Apple Watch app, and telephony built into every tier.
- A clean upgrade path into Zoho CRM and the wider Zoho catalogue when you outgrow it.
- Record and automation limits are published plainly, which is more than most CRMs manage.
Which one to buy
Choose Bigin by Zoho CRM if
A pipeline is what you need, you want it working today, and you do not want a system with parts you are not using. The free tier is a real option for one person.
Choose Recentriq if
You are already re-typing the same customer into a CRM, an invoicing tool and a spreadsheet of stock.
