Recentriq vs HubSpot
HubSpot is the better go-to-market platform. It is not a business system.
If your problem is generating and converting demand, HubSpot is very likely the right purchase and this page will not talk you out of it. Its marketing automation, sequences, reporting and app marketplace are ahead of anything we ship. The trouble arrives at the other end of the deal: HubSpot has no ledger, no stock, no purchase orders, and Sales Hub Professional is $90 a seat with a $1,500 onboarding fee before you have sent an invoice.

Read this before you quote the number above. These are Sales Hub prices. Marketing Hub, Service Hub and Content Hub are priced separately, and Marketing Hub additionally scales with your marketing contact count — which is the line item that surprises people, not the seat price.

The differences that actually decide it
The onboarding fee is a real number and it is rarely in the comparison.
Sales Hub Professional carries a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee and Enterprise $3,500. For a ten-seat Professional team, year one is $10,800 in licences plus $1,500 — roughly $12,300. Ten seats of Recentriq is $600 a year. We are not the same product, and that is still a real gap to explain to a board.
HubSpot stops at the invoice.
There are quotes, payments and invoices, and there is no chart of accounts, no journal, no bank reconciliation, no stock, no purchase orders. HubSpot customers pair it with QuickBooks or Xero, plus an inventory tool if they hold stock. That is two more subscriptions and two more integrations.
Contact-tier pricing.
Marketing Hub's price moves with your marketing contact count, so the cost of the platform grows with the size of your list rather than the size of your team. Recentriq charges for people who log in, and nothing else.
Where HubSpot is better than us
Every comparison page should have one of these. Here is ours.
- Marketing automation, email campaigns, landing pages and attribution reporting that we do not attempt.
- Sales engagement — sequences, call recording, conversation intelligence, forecasting — is best in class.
- An app marketplace of well over a thousand integrations, and every tool your team already uses is in it.
- The free tier is genuinely useful and has no time limit.
- Reporting and dashboards that a revenue team will actually run a business on.
Which one to buy
Choose HubSpot if
Marketing and sales execution is the business problem. You have a demand-generation motion, a list to nurture and a budget that treats software as go-to-market spend.
Choose Recentriq if
The deal is the easy part and everything after it — invoicing, stock, purchase orders, the books — is where the re-typing happens.
