Recentriq vs monday.com
monday.com is a better place to run work. It is not where your invoices live.
monday's boards are the best implementation of the idea anyone has shipped, and its automations and dashboards are why teams stay. But it is a work platform, not a business system: no ledger, no stock, no purchase orders, no invoicing. And the CRM, the dev tooling and the service desk are separate products with separate prices, which is the part that catches people who assumed 'work OS' meant one bill.

Read this before you quote the number above. These are Work Management prices. monday CRM, monday dev and monday service are priced separately — running work and CRM on monday means paying for both. Seats are bought in tiers, so the price does not always move one seat at a time.

The differences that actually decide it
Different question entirely.
monday answers 'how do we run our work'. Recentriq answers 'where does the business live'. Plenty of companies want both, and plenty of Recentriq's project module is less capable than monday's boards. What Recentriq has that monday does not is the ledger under it.
Multiple products, multiple bills.
Work Management, CRM, dev and service are four products. A sales team on monday CRM and a delivery team on Work Management are two subscriptions, and the seat you buy in one is not the seat you have in the other.
No finance layer at all.
There is no invoicing, no accounts, no stock and no purchasing. Those live in whatever you already pay for, and the connection between a completed board item and an invoice is an integration you maintain.
Where monday.com is better than us
Every comparison page should have one of these. Here is ours.
- The board interface is genuinely excellent and teams adopt it without being made to.
- Automations and integrations are deep, well-documented and easy for a non-developer to build.
- Dashboards and reporting across boards that we do not match.
- A very large template library — most teams find their process already built.
- Enterprise governance, audit logs and compliance posture we do not have.
Which one to buy
Choose monday.com if
Running work is the problem. You want boards your team will actually use, and finance is already handled somewhere you are happy with.
Choose Recentriq if
The gap you feel is between the work and the money — the project is done and somebody still has to type the invoice into a different system.
See it before you decide.
The whole product is clickable on the home page — not a screenshot gallery. $5 per user, per month, every module, cancel whenever.
