Recentriq vs Odoo
Odoo is the bigger toolbox. Recentriq is the shorter setup.
Odoo and Recentriq answer the same complaint — your CRM, your projects and your books are three products that do not speak. Odoo answers it with breadth: manufacturing, point of sale, ecommerce, a marketplace with tens of thousands of modules, and the option to host it yourself. Recentriq answers it with a fixed suite that is already wired together on the day you sign up. If your requirement list includes MRP or a webshop, this is a short comparison and Odoo wins it.

Read this before you quote the number above. Odoo prices differ by country and the headline rate is a first-year promotional discount — odoo.com shows a different figure depending on where you load it from. Treat these as the order of magnitude and check the page for your own region. Odoo.sh hosting and paid implementation are separate line items.

The differences that actually decide it
Odoo's free tier is one app. That is the whole shape of the difference.
One App Free is generous and genuinely free, and it is also the moment the integration argument stops applying — one app is the thing you already have. The paid plans include everything, so Odoo's real price is the paid price. Recentriq has one price and one plan, and everything is in it.
Studio, multi-company and the API sit behind the Custom plan.
Odoo's Standard plan is all apps but not all capability: Studio, multi-company and external API access are Custom-only, roughly a third more per seat. Recentriq's customisation layer — renaming records, hiding sections, per-tenant fields — is on for every tenant at the same price.
Odoo implementations are usually implemented.
The partner network exists because the suite is large enough to need one. That is a real cost most comparison tables leave out, and it is also real value if your processes are complicated. Recentriq is built to be set up by the person who will use it.
Where Odoo is better than us
Every comparison page should have one of these. Here is ours.
- Manufacturing (MRP), point of sale and a full ecommerce storefront — none of which Recentriq has, or plans to.
- A marketplace of tens of thousands of third-party modules, and a global partner network that will implement for you.
- You can host it yourself and read every line of the community edition. Recentriq is hosted only.
- Odoo Studio lets an administrator build new applications, not just relabel existing ones.
- Twenty years of production history across every industry you can name.
Which one to buy
Choose Odoo if
You manufacture something, you sell online, you need point of sale, or you want to host and modify the source yourself. Also choose Odoo if you have an implementation budget and processes that deserve one.
Choose Recentriq if
You are a services or trading business under a few hundred people, you want the suite configured this week rather than this quarter, and you would rather pay one price than choose a plan.
