Dashboard
The Dashboard is your landing page after login. It provides an at-a-glance view of key business metrics, recent activity across modules, and quick navigation to frequently used features.
Overview
The Dashboard is the command center for your business. Unlike static legacy systems, Recentriq's dashboard is fully dynamic, driven by a customizable widget engine, and intelligent enough to surface exactly what needs your attention before you even search for it.
The Action Feed (Needs your attention)
The core of the dashboard is the Action Feed. It continuously scans your organization's data across all modules you have permission to view, surfacing urgent, actionable items directly to you.
- Overdue Invoices: Automatically flags customers whose payment terms have lapsed.
- Pending Approvals: Surfaces leave requests or high-value purchase orders that are waiting on your sign-off.
- Missed Tasks: Highlights mission-critical tasks that have slipped past their deadlines.
Widget Engine
Your metrics are powered by configurable widgets. You are no longer locked into what we think is important; you design your own view.
Personal vs Workspace
Dashboards can be scoped to just your personal metrics (e.g., "My Tasks") or workspace-wide aggregates (e.g., "Total Revenue"). Switch contexts seamlessly at the top right.
Drag & Drop Layouts
Click the 'Edit Layout' button to enter configuration mode. You can drag widgets, resize them across columns, or remove ones that aren't relevant to your current focus.
Best Practices
- Treat the Action Feed as Inbox Zero: Try to clear your Action Feed every morning. If an item is there, it's blocking a business process.
- Contextualize your widgets: Keep financial widgets near the top if you're an executive, but push pipeline metrics up if you are leading sales.
- Use the exact definitions: Every widget contains a small information icon explaining exactly what the metric counts. No more guessing what "Revenue" actually includes.
